inspiration

...when I worked at an elementary school a few years ago, a group of third grade girls were completely convinced that they were in communication with ghosts from the graveyard adjacent to their playground. One day after recess I checked under a stone where the girls had been leaving notes to the ghosts all week... and I took the notes home with me. Although I didn't lead them on by writing back, I like to imagine that just removing the notes made them feel validated in their writing to the spirits.

  1. Okay I am still figuring this whole thing out but wanted to say thank you so much for getting started on this!
Back to school today with a bit of a hang over (a weekend of drinking will do that to a girl)...I'm feeling emotional and overwhelmed, fun!
I have been doing some breathing exercises and am going to work on some meditation tonight, any relaxation tips mama?? (*Preferably not too time consuming....eeeks this is my problem!)
Okay...now I am passing the book. Love you<3

  2. Susan Piver's blog has guided meditation sessions as short as 5 minutes. I really like the 10 minute ones because it's enough time to get really immersed in it, but you can fit it in to just about any part of the day. I've been resorting to naps feeling pretty overwhelmed myself lately - but chocolate is good, too, for a few blissful minutes of escape!
